How can you print from Snipping Tool without pasting first?

Is there a way to print directly from the Snipping tool whitout having to paste the snip or save it and open in a different program?

Hi,

Click the " ? " on the Snipping Tool for HELP. To print a Snip it has to be put into

Paint or another program. The advantage of using the Snipping Tool is that you

don't have to print the entire screen.

Start - type in Search box -> Snipping Tool    find at top of list and double click on it.

    Microsoft has already considered and rejected this functionality.   No reason stated, other than that it wasn't considered relevant to the core functionality.

    I disagree totally. I sent my response to Microsoft.  They sent me to another website..blah... I really want a straight answer..we are not going to do this.  It is such a great little tool but cumbersome to use. I know Apple has similar tool and doubt they have same issue with printing.  Would this motivate Microsoft ?? :-)

    Hey, go for it.  All I'm saying is I made that exact recommendation on a non-public Microsoft forum (during Windows 7 beta I think) and it was rejected.  Not ignored, rejected.

    Looking back, I see that it might have been because it was a beta test, my report was take as a software bug rather than a design bug, and it was rejected as being "by design".

    Print from the snipping tool without saving.

    1. Select the area to snip with the snipping tool.
    2. Select "Send Snip".
    3. Right click the attached image in the email page and select print.
    4. Select open.
    5. Print to your selected printer.

    This is an INGENIOUS solution and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!

    5. Print to your selected printer.

    Darrell this does not work for me...my computer defaults to outlook and I use gmail.  Many educational institutions use gmail and I teach students and they cannot get to gmail with the send to.  I need another solution. thanks. peggy
