How can you print from Snipping Tool without pasting first?

Is there a way to print directly from the Snipping tool whitout having to paste the snip or save it and open in a different program?

Hi,

Click the " ? " on the Snipping Tool for HELP. To print a Snip it has to be put into

Paint or another program. The advantage of using the Snipping Tool is that you

don't have to print the entire screen.

Start - type in Search box -> Snipping Tool    find at top of list and double click on it.

    Sure would make the snipping tool very convenient if you could print directly instead of having to save.

    If you select > file > attach as email attachment it will open outlook automatically with the file attached. > right click on attachment > print. Once printed back out of outlook. I personally find it easier than having to save, find the saved file and print in another program 

    This works IF you have Outlook (or Mail) loaded and configured (which was one of the original issues where no email client was configured). If you have Outlook or Mail loaded an even easier way is to hit the "Send Snip" envelope icon on the Snipping Tool toolbar and right-click the attached SnipImage and "QuickPrint". This uses 3 clicks or movements vs 5 that are needed to do the "File" process that was shown in Chris's post.

    I keep reading about how the inside program fixes and makes hundreds of new features all the time. Yet there is still no direct print option in the Snipping Tool ? Really? Sure, there are quirky look alike apps from 3rd party programmers, but why should it be from them? Please put a direct print icon on the bar, along with New, Mode, Delay, Cancel and Options.  Pasting it into other programs, like Paint, is lame.  I see items I'm shopping for and print them, and bring them into the store and show my salesperson what I'm looking for. Why would I want to visit a paint program?  I also share things with friends, items or articles. Nobody wants a cluttered screen shot. Thank you for your time and consideration.

    Todd, I know this posting started way back in 2011, but there have been many answers after SpiritX's post that show what it takes to print DIRECTLY from the Snipping Tool. Once you upgrade to Windows10, you will have the functionality using the "CTRL +  P" shortcut that all other MS applications provide. Please read through all the answers and see what others have done trying to get Microsoft to add this functionality. They finally listened...now you just need to upgrade to Windows 10 to fix "your" problem. Good Luck!

    Yes there is a menu option in Windows 10 to print from Snipping tool.

    However very disappointing for me - just prints blank pages....
