How can you print from Snipping Tool without pasting first?

I'm using Windows 7.

Frank, Windows 10 version is much better with the easier print capability. I'd say they might have also fixed your issue. However, depending on the size (width) of capture, it is possible that a wider capture may cause the problem you discussed, much the way MSPaint chops off extents when the image is larger than the form printed on. Referencing your next question about Snagit cost, I would rather use Snipping Tool. Last time I purchased Snagit was 7 years ago and cost was approximately $20+ 

I would rather use something local to Windows. However, others may like the extra things that Snagit provides. I used to use it a lot, but Snipping Tool is my favorite now!

Maybe one of you brainy people here can answer this for me. I started following this issue for the Vista system looking for a solution to a problem and you all seem to be concerned about every other system out there, 7, 10, etc, what happened to helping out the guys using Vista with a problem?  And now before you all start in on me for not upgrading, I don't like those systems, they're too over-controlling and plain. And I'm not buying a new system just because they think I should, and threatening to stop supporting stuff because its out of date won't work because I've been into every aspect of PC's since DOS 2.0 and I'm ready to retire from them now. Go back to my old simple life, fishing, camping, etc. and not one PC anymore.  The reason I came on here in the first place was to find out where they moved the clipboard to, can't locate it anymore. Didn't use it much before so now I can't find it, in programs or start or where ever they put it this time but you guys all seem to want to think about other systems so I guess this is a wash huh?

John, I completely understand your frustration as do many of my older customers. When I commented in one of my last posts about the enhancements to the Snipping Tool in Windows 10, one can only do with what one is given. Many in this community were frustrated that Microsoft would limit a functionality (CTRL + P printing) that is in EVERY other program they support. I can only say I was happy when the printing capability was added to Snipping Tool but only if you upgrade to Windows 10. That said, Microsoft should be allowed to build the software the way THEY feel is most efficient and productive. However, listening to customers and adding enhancements is something Microsoft has learned through the recent Windows 10 Preview. They ARE listening, and are making changes for mostly everyone's benefit.

Back to your issue...I'm sure you have looked at all the MANY other postings about losing CLIPBRD.EXE in Windows Vista. If you don't want to upgrade, you can still get it operating by adding in the clipbrd.exe from an older Windows XP system and functionality to Vista returns. Your only issue now is finding someone with an active Windows XP system. This is not always the best route and can cause other compatibility issues, but is worthwhile to look at in your scenario.
