How can you print from Snipping Tool without pasting first?

Is there a way to print directly from the Snipping tool whitout having to paste the snip or save it and open in a different program?

Hi,

Click the " ? " on the Snipping Tool for HELP. To print a Snip it has to be put into

Paint or another program. The advantage of using the Snipping Tool is that you

don't have to print the entire screen.

Start - type in Search box -> Snipping Tool    find at top of list and double click on it.

    How stupid,,, Just add a print tool..     why is it so hard for anyone the ability to do this?

    This thread started 4 years ago. It's amazing that nothing has been added to the tool since 2011.

    Has anyone considered the "obvious"?  Money talks.  What if a patent exists for the required process and MS doesn't want to pay for the rights? To me there's no other sensible reason!

    I understood this the first time I used it and noticed printing was not available. I've seen other MS responses in this posting trying to redirect others OUTSIDE of Microsoft to another program. I assumed it was for a non competitor product to compete with the company that MS didn't want to pay to play. Hey, as JohnGWy said...follow the money. Not saying I don't agree with MS on this, just saying that I've used MANY screen capture products, and SNIPPING TOOL is the BEST all around (OTHER THAN YOU CAN'T 1 STEP PRINT)! Hoping for a solution in the future ** after the patent runs out ;) **

    There is a great tool out there called Greenshot. I gave up on M$ ever adding that simple needed feature. I just can't believe that they are so bullheaded about it. I know a lot of people cannot use freeware, but you should try this out personally. It is a fantastic tool.
