How can you print from Snipping Tool without pasting first?

Is there a way to print directly from the Snipping tool whitout having to paste the snip or save it and open in a different program?

Hi,

Click the " ? " on the Snipping Tool for HELP. To print a Snip it has to be put into

Paint or another program. The advantage of using the Snipping Tool is that you

don't have to print the entire screen.

Start - type in Search box -> Snipping Tool    find at top of list and double click on it.

    After snipping a desired portion of some document with the snipping tool, I would like to copy the snip to a WORD document without first saving it to some .jpg file.  When I do this, the WORD file looks correct but when I print the WORD document, the snipped portion is cropped on its right side and thus the entire snipped item is not visible.

    If I save the snipped item first to a .jpg file and then insert it into WORD, everything works fine.  But this is slower and take more keystrokes.

    Can anyone tell me how to copy a snipped item directly to a WORD document?

    I just used Windows 10 Snipping Tool and captured your whole message, clicked on the Copy icon, pasted into a word document, then printed the doc and it printed fine (albiet a large clipboard image making the insert run slow). There have also been changes to the Snipping Tool in Windows 10 allowing you to print directly using CTRL + P and File, Print as any other program does. What version of Windows are you running?

    I gave up!  For so many years I dealt with this issue of back and forth between snip and word.  A wonderful solution is to buy Techsmith's Snagit.. You can print right from the snip and lots more goodies.  Google it.. I love it! peggy
