How do I reinstall rtl120.bpl?

Original Title: rtl120.bpl?

My computer is telling me that I need to re-install rtl120.bpl. I did not know I had deleted it in the first place and in the second how do I go about re-installing it if I don't have it any more?

It would have helped to have the complete error message so I wouldn't have to guess, but rtl120.bpl appears to be related to something called "TuneUp Utilities 2010."  Further, some anti-virus applications apparently were detecting this file as a Trojan horse (and thus deleting it or quarantining it) although those "false positive" detections were from Dec. 2009 and I would have expected the issue to have been long since dealt with.

Assuming that you have something like TuneUp Utilities 2010 installed, I suggest that you uninstall it.  As a general rule, such utilities don't provided much benefit (other than to the income of the vendor) but have the potential for causing problems to your system.  If you can't uninstall whatever it is from Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, you will probably succeed with free Revo Uninstaller.

    Its ok if the vendors name is MS, right?

    It would seem this rtl120.bpl has been causing problems for years.

    I have been using Win10 for quite some time with AVG and Advanced System Care without too many problems.

    Now the popup Win10 menu will not activate and although I can see my Outlook internet files by activating via the old rt click menu I cannot make contact with anyone or anything including ebay, Facebook or even my bank. This has thus completely isolated my computer making it unusable. Restore to a few days earlier allowed operation again but within 2 days this error message is back and I am isolated again. Now I have performed a complete Win 10 installation and upgrade. The first thing I am greeted with is the rtl120.bpl missing note however since I have been allowed to see the Microsoft help message page and this opportunity to actually make contact I am doing this now. Any help with this is most appreciated since I have a mound of work to do!

    I had too eventuslly do a reiinstall  on my computer took too a loca tech 150$ and he told me  get rid of I obit  I obit hope you do better then me
