Don't worry about it - I fixed it by following the steps below...

Thanks anyway! :-)

  1. Temporarily shut down anti-virus and firewall software
  2. Open Control Panel, Programs and Features (or Add and Remove Programs), and go to the uninstall section
  3. Remove all Apple products in this order - iTunes, Quicktime, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, Apple Application Support.  You do not need to remove Safari
  4. Restart computer
  5. Go to Apple.com and download newest version of iTunes
  6. Re-install

    Hi EdwinHicks,

    1. Did you make any changes to the computer recently?
    2. When exactly do you get that error message?
    3. How long are you facing this issue?

I would suggest you to perform clean boot. The following link will help you to perform clean boot. The issue seems to be like to be with some startup items.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7**http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135**Note: Follow step 7 from the clean boot article KB929135 to put the computer back to normal mode.

Any other sugestion  ?  Didn´t worked on my XP.
