Is "RegClean Pro by Systweak" as they state a "Microsoft Gold Certified Partner"?

I believe that Microsoft was responsible for this scam to happen.  I only used this registerscan program because Sysweak claimed that Microsoft was their partner.

Systweak is a 7th ranking website in the world in the "Software" category of Similarweb.com with up to 500 million estimated monthly visits. It has more visits than CNet's Download.com. It's got 500 global rank on Alexa.com. 

With that said, I think that the "gold partner" badge earns this company a LOT of dollars relatively speaking. They sell software that nobody in the right mind would ever want or should ever need but people are under impression that Microsoft recommends it.

Microsoft Gold Partner badge doesn't mean what 99.99999% people think it means. This is a very benign system intended for education and promotion of technology but it has a malign application on the Systweak site, it's subtly used to fool suckers into buying software which they otherwise would not buy.

I may be too harsh on this company, after all everything they do is perfectly legal. But with all the vindication I can muster in words, without tinyest fraction of a doubt I can say that people who buy their stuff are being suckered, it's just that simple.

Since I work in the industry, I know for a fact that at least half of Windows users haven't heard of System Restore which in 95% of cases solves people's problems (ie. missing icons, toolbar buttons, strange behaviours). If this company asked people "Have you tried System Restore?" before selling their product, their sales would plummet. This is one of the reasons why I think Microsoft is just as guilty as Systweak for people being scammed. A couple of MSDN articles written by a team of tech savvy lawyers isn't enough to educate average Windows user about dangers of downloading Scareware.
