I recently purchased this registry cleaner  "RegClean Pro by Systweak". They promoted that they are a "Microsoft Gold Certified Partner". Is this true?

    Hi grandma6cas,

I downloaded their 30 trial of Advanced System protector last month, it found a trojan so I bought the program.

A few hours later, my computer was infected with numerous trojans shutting it down basically.

I did a system restore and they were gone.

I then blasted them by email calling them criminals etc demanding my money back.

I cancelled my debit card as the payments were pending but too late.

    Then they charged me again.

My bank has been alerted and they managed to get rid of one of the pending payments.

The company has refunded me two payments but there is one still pending.

No more 30 day trials for me.

Their site looks so professional and we all got conned.

I am going to post everywhere I can about them.

It may not be too late for you to recover your payment from your bank and email them like I did.

    It's worth a try.

    It's worth a try.

It may also be very wise to make sure your system is clean of any Malware, spyware and viruses that may have been installed along with the program.

Run these two AV Scanners just to be sure.

    Malwarebytes (MBAM)Free

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free

    SuperAntispyware {SAS) Free

    http://superantispyware.com/

Download and run complete scans, with each, remove any and all suspicious items found and reboot. Run again untill the scans run clean. SuperAntispyware will probably find a lot of adware. Remove, reboot and repeat.

You can keep both AV scanners as backup to use for a second and third opinion if you wish, or you can remove them when finished.

    Good luck

I used RegCleaner for one month and emailed them twice to reimburse me as their money back guarantee stated, because I decided I really didn't need it. They have not reimbursed me, nor emailed me again. What's going on with them? How can I get my money back? I can't even find their email contact address on-line.

I would think at this point in time that they have probably gone under, or are about to. Unfortunately. RegCleaner is more "junk" than any "cleaner", that's why they're on the run....with your, and my, money.
