Windows Update error 0x8007066A or 66A

Hello,

I get Windows Update error “0x8007066A” or “66A” when installing updates using Windows Update or Microsoft Update, Is this a known issue? How do I fix this?

    I'm not sure if it's relevant but it does appear that the Windows 7 Ultimate Edition posted in this report is a "non-genuine" or unvalidated product.

    I finally uninstalled Net framework and then re-installed it again. Perhaps the files were corrupted?
