Event says when my system froze that "The DgiVecp service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified."

I found the exact problem that causes this freezes. My computer freezed today at 20:17. I went to the event viewer and found that at that time there is an event says that "The DgiVecp service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified."

Is there anyone who knows about it?

Press Enter

Navigate to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

Look for an entry listed as DgiVecp

If you find this, then change the Start data value to 4.

Reboot the system and see if the message is gone.

Event ID 6008 - is it still showing up in Event Viewer? Possibilities were heat, video drivers, faulty devices, failing HD's etc

Uninstall USB drivers and reinstall a fresh copy

hidclass.sys - usually keyboard, mouse, etc...

ntoskrnl.exe is showing as caused by the above driver

The last two dumps are showing the two above files with hidclass.sys driver being cause of issue

You also need to disable driver verifier when finished with it.

I have microsoft wireless usb keyboard and mouse and two logitech gamepad..

I uninstall the daemon. Now when I enable the verifier, the computer gives bsod after entering the password for log in.

I am using microsoft essential for antivirus.

Should I use computer without daemon for a while to check whether it gives error or not?

Should I uninstall the usb drivers that I mentioned above and install them again?

Reinstall the usb drivers -

Do not use the daemon tools at this point

When you get bsod on login, what is in the Event Viewer?

Start > Right click on Computer

Select Manage

Click continue on UAC window

Select Device Manager

Click the + next to keyboard and mouse

right click on both and select uninstall

Scroll down and click the + next to Universal Serial Bus Controllers

Right click on USB Root Hub listings

Select Uninstall

Close device manager

Reboot computer

Windows will reinstall the drivers

Proceed with surfing, games, etc... without updating the drivers and see what happens

If met with BSOD, check event viewer and proceed to go to the manufacturer's site to look for updates. Do not use Windows Update
