Windows updates failed, Want to delete all failed update files in history location

Windows update section states I have 1 updates and one optional. Files download and computer restarts, but files fail to log.

Also, how can I delete all the failed window files fromhistory. Taking up lots of room.

Hi Ronk109,

If the updates got installed successfully the next time, then you can directly jump to method 2 which include steps to erase Windows Update history. After following the steps, the update history will be completely wiped out. By erasing the update history, you’ll just lose the update record entry and not exactly the updates. You can still find the history of the installed updates under the option Installed updates in Windows Update window.

    Note that this 5½-year-old thread had nothing whatsoever to do with upgrading to Win10.

    hey!? all the update history wasn't on the same file, only most and the recent of the windows updates, but not from the beginning! so!? were i can find the another list of these other succeed and failed updates for the Windows 7 Home Premium, so i can delete all those failed!? thank you so! God bless you so! love you so! i have try almost all of these, and either have already deleted the file or there has been the file at all, what you mentioned, but i try again and see has the update history file being completely wipe out or what and i also try the clean start to fix my windows update system, because it is still can't work for 100%, that it can't find any updates and it won't start automatically, but i check have i put that off, the automatic updates, but when i had it on, it still didn't work, like = as it should has / have!  JAKE  VALKO   :   )
