The Zune Feature Request & Suggestion Thread

I suggest to sticky this thread!

here are my suggests between zune and windows phone:

• see new apps like top app list and if u click u can see lot of new apps
• order lists by genre, date, price...
• see the download, install and sync status of an app
• see the apps installed in my phone

and here about zune:

• In playlist view a now playng voice that easy help us manage playlists and now playng songs
• in playlist and now playng edit details voice for id3tags without go to collection
• Auto convert id3 tags to filename and viceversa
• Sync with a usb thumb drive (like media player) not only with microsoft devices and burner
• Save and read playlists in .m3u too that are universal without it's too complicate manage playlist between more softwares and devices
• Show duplicate files in a playlist and if there are in another playlist too

There MUST be an easier way to move pictures from zune to skydrive ;(

or Move pictures from zune to facebook

or upload files to facebook from windows phone ;(

With the new service, code named "Woodstock" for now.......I would love to see

1. Hi-rez files available, like 24bit/96kHz Lossless files where available. I would pay more on my Zune Pass for the ability to download these type of files.
2. For normal Zune Pass downloads, move up the chain from 192kbps, make 256 or 320kbps the standard in WMA format.
3. Online streaming at least 320kbps.
4. Make the software compatible with all mp3 players including iPoods.......MS will sell more Zune Passes that way.

I just feel if they are truely going after the Spotify/Pandora markets these issues need to be addressed. Higher quality sounding downloads are a must as they are offered on other music providers.

I mean HDTracks sells hi-rez files for like $24 an album and people buy them cause they want better sounding digital music.

If you have a higher end sound system and use a Sonos wireless or other, you want higher end files to enjoy the system.

Listening thru tiny laptop speakers needs to be the minimum.

I really missing option to set Zune software to sync content from Windows Phone to different location based on file type. Videos to Videos and Pictures to Pictures libraries. I want order in my files and Windows 7 libraries are great. If I can set up different sync options to different libraries, so why all content from phone goes to one folder?

I have found that my favorite song, Freaks and Geeks by Childish Gambino, is not on the Market place.

You reeeeeeeeeally think Microsoft would just pull content for the heck of it? The labels do it :D Not them.. don't be silly... I hate it, too, but it's not their fault. Contact the labels and **** at 'em :P
