I suggest to sticky this thread! here are my suggests between zune and windows phone: see new apps like top app list and if u click u can see lot of new apps order lists by genre, date, price... see the download, install and sync status of an app see the apps installed in my phone and here about zune: In playlist view a now playng voice that easy help us manage playlists and now playng songs in playlist and now playng edit details voice for id3tags without go to collection Auto convert id3 tags to filename and viceversa Sync with a usb thumb drive (like media player) not only with microsoft devices and burner Save and read playlists in .m3u too that are universal without it's too complicate manage playlist between more softwares and devices Show duplicate files in a playlist and if there are in another playlist too

I would like to see the options for Closed Captioning or English subtitles available on movies in the Zune Marketplace. Since this will be required once it is enforced in January 2012, it would be great to see it enabled and gather feedback from the community on this particular feature. A new ZUNE player would be a good start. ZUNE HD2 perhaps? An update to the physical design of the mp3 players. An update to the software that adds new features and allow customization of media information (title of song, artist name, etc.) Allow customization of font/size, colors, background.

I agree... the best will be a player with windows phone 7 OS without phone function (like ios for ipod and iphone) so we can have only one platform to use and develop...and same apps1

isn't the iphone and itouch the same? I thought the ipod had a different user interface. My sister has both ipod and itouch although the ipod is older. Or i guess you could mean ipod touch(same as itouch in my dictionary) Anyway back on topic I actually don't want the windows phone 7 OS on the zune. It's nice for the phone but on the player itself the one that zune sports is pretty stylish in terms of design and use of typography. Although it shares similarities I feel the one that ZUNE HD has is much more suited for media then what the Phone OS is designed. Also the simplicity makes it really sleek although a little update to the software or design wouldn't hurt either. A little highlight before the option activates itself would be nice like the colors of music get darker or bolder or something before you press so you know your finger is on that selection would be nice. Zune should be available outside of US to increase market share. Basing it only within US is quite a downfall. Loading speed increase would be nice. Loading apps and native programs faster would be nice. A speaker would be nice so you don't have to plug in the Zune HD or even mp3 players to a headphone to hear music. Portrait mode for video and music for mp3 players and ZUNE HD would be nice.

Is microsft plugging the wires OFF the Zune Software development. There has not been much happening in that department for quite some time. I also hear that Microsoft might dump Zune for a more competitive cloud service named Microsoft Ventura? Really?
