I'd like to see the Zune Player support DLNA or UPnP AV, so that we can use any of the many existing UPnP remote apps for wp7/ios/android/pc/mac. It'd fit in nicely with the DLNA support that WMP and Media Center already get.
But if WP7 had UPnP or DLNA baked into the media player, that'd be an even better expierence because I could access the content that is served up from my computer without syncing it, and use it as a controller for Media Center, WMP, XBMC and all the UPnP media players out there.
While the Zune software will display my photo collection, it is useless at finding any photos within that collection. If I enter a photo tag into the Zune Search field, it will look through other media (albums, videos, etc), but totally ignore the photo collection. Sigh.
One of the things that used to be on the zune marketplace but for some reason was removed were Fitness Channels. I remember subscribing to a few cardio channels, but they appear to have been removed from the marketplace. These channels were great for working out and I enjoyed having a new weekly playlist. Any ideas as to why these type of channels were removed?

I completely agree!!!! $15 a month mostly makes sense to me if this was available. I like being given songs and told that these songs are carefully picked out to be best for workout!! It encourages you to work out more than anything... and you guys had ones for vigorous workout, for a light jog, for relaxation, and more. That was almost as important to me as the Zune SmartDJ and the fact that I get to see the artist when the song plays on the screen.
I didn't realize this wasn't available 'till now... I was waiting to get a stable job to pay $15/month.
