I suggest to sticky this thread! here are my suggests between zune and windows phone: see new apps like top app list and if u click u can see lot of new apps order lists by genre, date, price... see the download, install and sync status of an app see the apps installed in my phone and here about zune: In playlist view a now playng voice that easy help us manage playlists and now playng songs in playlist and now playng edit details voice for id3tags without go to collection Auto convert id3 tags to filename and viceversa Sync with a usb thumb drive (like media player) not only with microsoft devices and burner Save and read playlists in .m3u too that are universal without it's too complicate manage playlist between more softwares and devices Show duplicate files in a playlist and if there are in another playlist too

If you rate the songs through Windows Explorer, you get your 1-5 star ratings still. And they're relfected in Zune via the hearts.

Also, I would like for disc tags to be properly recognized in Zune. Before you tell me they are, go to Collection>Music>Songs. In this view (which is just a long list of your music), sorting by album ignores the disc tag so you end up with tracks going 1,1,2,2,3,3 like WMP again.

You know, I don't care much for games. You guys outdid yourselves with the Ferrari racing game and ones which incorporate random songs into 3d driving games - nice touch!! By "I don't care" for them, I meant that I don't see a need for them, at least not for me, beyond what you guys already have. But I can't get through my head why there's no calender function, nor a working alarm. I'm glad you have the alarm app, the problem is - it doesn't work w/out connection to the PC. It says "to enable the alarm, please first plug in your Zune." I do that, then when I disconnect it says the same thing. This kind of beats the purpose of hte alarm to me, and I hope you guys will fix it. But even better would be to make a calendar function with built-in alarm reminder. And please, add a notepad or mini-word processor. I could really use it; I was... playing scrabble with my mom in spirit of the holidays, heh, and we couldn't even keep score on the Zune. We used the search feature to check on words, that worked wonders. But for keeping scores I had to use the $57 MP4 player I got my aunt. The Zune should have this function, too, please. Thanks!

i have a zune 120 with 22000 songs on it (yes 22 thousand which is maybe 1/4 of my music collection). When im driving around i put my zune on random all play. I want a option where if a song i like plays, i want to add it to a user made playlist by pressing and holding my center button or something to where after i collect a bunch of songs i like i can just go to that playlist. my sanza clip has this option and i love it and would love it for the zune.

I think that's by design. I don't think they intended for people to use the 'song' view as the main view. In the other views the software takes account of the disc number.
