The Zune Feature Request & Suggestion Thread

When viewing the collection view for music, it would be nice if pressing a letter would make the view jump to the that letter in the list of music (i.e. pressing 'm' would jump to music/artists/albums, depending how it is currently sorted, starting with 'm')

Apologies for making it in reply to the first post this is my first time writing here and I'm not quite sure of how to do it xD.

here are my suggests between zune and windows phone:

• see new apps like top app list and if u click u can see lot of new apps
• order lists by genre, date, price...
• see the download, install and sync status of an app
• see the apps installed in my phone

and here about zune:

• In playlist view a now playng voice that easy help us manage playlists and now playng songs
• in playlist and now playng edit details voice for id3tags without go to collection
• Auto convert id3 tags to filename and viceversa
• Sync with a usb thumb drive (like media player) not only with microsoft devices and burner
• Save and read playlists in .m3u too that are universal without it's too complicate manage playlist between more softwares and devices
• Show duplicate files in a playlist and if there are in another playlist too

As much as I like the Zune and Microsoft I don't think they update/make anymore

Please make deals with more independent labels. iTunes is kicking your butt when it comes to new, non-main stream artists and tracks. I have a ton of electronic and singer songwriter music that isn't available on Xbox music and therefore can't be synced to my cloud. In addition, I have to go visit iTunes genius periodically to make sure I haven't missed any new and hot tracks from artists not available on Xbox. Bibio for example, Xbox has his first album but now he has a library of music and Xbox can't find or match any of it. Come on man!!!

Since the beginning of my Windows experience, it always was a big hassle that the space bar doesn't get the media to be played. Please fix this, and make the space bar the default play-button for all media related parts of windows!

I am a campus representative for Microsoft and Windows 8.  I demo Windows 8 and other Microsoft products on my college campus.  I am EXTREMELY disappointed by Xbox Music Pass.  I had no issues with it, until I started paying for it.  After paying for it, I have gotten Error messages every other time I try to play a song.  Then, when I tried contacting customer service over the phone, I was put on hold for 30 minutes and eventually hung up over frustration.  I myself have been a customer service rep for a website and could not believe how terrible Microsofts CS was.  I got generic answers and passed on to multiple CS reps.  Microsoft has positioned itself for the comeback of the century.  This stereotypically awful Microsoft service is what will hold Microsoft back from becoming the Apple of the future.  I believe Microsoft has the power to take over the tech world if and only if it can get rid of these types of very typical "old-Microsoft" ways.
