I suggest to sticky this thread! here are my suggests between zune and windows phone: see new apps like top app list and if u click u can see lot of new apps order lists by genre, date, price... see the download, install and sync status of an app see the apps installed in my phone and here about zune: In playlist view a now playng voice that easy help us manage playlists and now playng songs in playlist and now playng edit details voice for id3tags without go to collection Auto convert id3 tags to filename and viceversa Sync with a usb thumb drive (like media player) not only with microsoft devices and burner Save and read playlists in .m3u too that are universal without it's too complicate manage playlist between more softwares and devices Show duplicate files in a playlist and if there are in another playlist too

It seems odd to me that someone would want to classify music by which company released it (as opposed to artist, genre, etc.). I'm sure there's a valid reason, but I doubt it's one that many users would use, and therefore I doubt it would get implemented in Zune.

For the love of god please add the FLAC codec!!!!! I really like the zune program interface, but as an audiophile I cannot use it with my HD music. FLAC is a free codec, why can't you integrate it????? Otherwise an EQ and HD audio downloads without DRM. I will not buy music with DRM so I can lose it when I reinstall windows. Music purchased from Zune is DRM-free MP3. It isn't lossless either, but I don't think there is much chance of finding anywhere that is selling mainstream music in lossless formats. For most people it's not an issue. If lossless music is such a priority for you, you could just convert your FLAC files to lossless WMA and keep the FLAC originals as a backup (I do this with my live music bootlegs). I strongly doubt Zune will ever implement FLAC support, so either do without or use the workarouind. WMA lossless works perfectly with Zune, has the same quality as the FLAC originals, and is also compatible with a lot of 3rd party devices (car stereos, Windows PCs, etc.).

1. Music purchased from Zune is DRM-free MP3. It isn't lossless either, but I don't think there is much chance of finding anywhere that is selling mainstream music in lossless formats. For most people it's not an issue.
2. If lossless music is such a priority for you, you could just convert your FLAC files to lossless WMA and keep the FLAC originals as a backup (I do this with my live music bootlegs). I strongly doubt Zune will ever implement FLAC support, so either do without or use the workarouind.
WMA lossless works perfectly with Zune, has the same quality as the FLAC originals, and is also compatible with a lot of 3rd party devices (car stereos, Windows PCs, etc.).
