I suggest to sticky this thread! here are my suggests between zune and windows phone: see new apps like top app list and if u click u can see lot of new apps order lists by genre, date, price... see the download, install and sync status of an app see the apps installed in my phone and here about zune: In playlist view a now playng voice that easy help us manage playlists and now playng songs in playlist and now playng edit details voice for id3tags without go to collection Auto convert id3 tags to filename and viceversa Sync with a usb thumb drive (like media player) not only with microsoft devices and burner Save and read playlists in .m3u too that are universal without it's too complicate manage playlist between more softwares and devices Show duplicate files in a playlist and if there are in another playlist too

I don't want to do it in Windows. I shouldn't have to do it in Windows. I have more music in my music folder than I have room on my phone. I don't want to highlight all the individual artists I want on my phone in Windows and see how much space it amounts to via properties. In iTunes (I'm coming to Zune from iTunes and iPods since 2004) it says underneath every playlist the size in time and mb/gb. I'm starting to realize there's no way to do this in Zune, which is one of Zune's many, many... many flaws. If you go to Settings > Device > Sync groups you can see the size of any playlists (or albums or artists) currently set to sync. You can only see the size once you've set it to sync, so it's not exactly what you're looking for. The way Zune is designed you shouldn't really need to worry too much about this. Sync what you want to sync. If there is not enough space Zune will tell you and you can then either select what you want and don't want to sync or you can tell the Zune software to lower the bitrate of your music files to fit more onto the device. It seems simpler to me to just sync what you want and not worry about it until when/if you try to sync more than will fit.

This kills me with Zune. Download a Ray Charles album into your library. Where does he show up: under R or C? Where SHOULD he show up? iTunes corrected this in 2006 with the "sort artist" feature. Why is there no way to change this in Zune? I mean, it's not a question I'm expecting to have answered, just a suggestion for future updates. So I guess one blanket suggestion for Zune developers would be: Catch up to what iTunes was in 2006.

...and this is very odd indeed, because podcasts are free and legally available in other countries. Everyone else besides US-ians have to go and search manually for podcasts using Google.
