Definitely cheats, i) Caught East playing a Heart when a Diamond was on the table. Next hand East plays a Diamond!! ii) Queen of Spades passed to North .... 2nd last hand, Queen of Spades played by West???

I was actually able to prove concretely beyond a shadow of a doubt that the game was cheating. Ironically, I had to cheat in order to do it... I don't remember how I did it, but at one point in my ramblings on the Internet, I came across a page that explained how to cheat at Hearts. It involved changing options in the Windows system registry. The net effect was that after the changes were made, instead of having the backs of your opponents' cards facing you, you could see the *fronts* of all of them - meaning that they were all effectively showing me all of their cards all the time. Having that advantage, you would think that it would be extremely easy to beat the computer. However, I found that the computer was consistently doing things like reneging on hands and playing void even though it still had cards of the led suit in its hand. It wasn't just a theory, either - when you can see exactly what your opponent has in his (its) hands, you know that it's cheating. Gives credence to the joke that Microsoft is an acronym for "Most Intelligent Consumers Realize Our Software Only Fools Teenagers."

I thought I was the only one who believed Microsoft Hearts cheats. The frequency with which I'm given the Q-spades or higher is beyond a coincidence. The frequency with which 1 player is "protected" or rarely gets points is beyond a coincidence. One thing I would like to see changed: showing us how many hands a player has won (this is how it's done in live games) so we can take a hand to prevent a player from shooting the moon.

Hearts program cheats! I've specifically caught the game cheating. Passed Ace & King Spades to the right & they ended up across the table. I think this is BULL I would expect a program to play by the rules!
