System error "the program can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from your computer

Excellent.  You are a star.  That fixed my problem with WoT too.

The DirectX Redistributable  installer package unpacks files to a folder location of your choice.

You have to then run the DXSETUP.exe  to reinstall DirectX.

When you have finished reinstalling DirectX you can delete this folder.

• The DirectX Redist installer is the best option if a DX file/s has been corrupted somehow,

as this will reinstall all DX9,10,11 files.

The Web Installer only installs 'missing' files and does not fix corrupt files.

• To those who are using Win10 . There is a dedicated Win10 forum which would be a better place

to post to as Win10 does do some things differently to Win7.

If reinstalling DirectX does not fix an error it is also best to start your own thread regardless

of which version of Windows you are using. 

DX errors are not always about a DX file. They can be generated from having inadequate hardware as well

(not so likely when dealing with a DX9 file though).

• Give full details of what is, or is not happening, and include system specifications,

including brand and model graphics card.

I downloaded it but now there are abunch of cab files, and the original problem is not fixed

When i click on the link it sends me to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 but the thing is im already on windows 10 sooo....
