How do I reinstall WLDCore.dll?

I've tried what you suggested (on and off for a couple of months) and can't seem to get anywhere.  Where can I go to download what I need to download?  I am unable to find c:\Program Files\Windows Live\Shared. I can't find any files that say Windows Live.

I suppose you don't have a good search tool, so:

1. Install  Agent Ransack.
2. Search for "wldcore.dll"
3. In the results, right-click the file, select copy and paste it into your desktop
4. Search for "wldlog.dll"
5. In the results, right-click the file, select copy and paste it into your desktop
6. Search for "wlmail.exe"
7. In the results right-click the address and select "Explore here..." or copy the path.
8. Copy or move both "wldcore.dll" and "wldlog.dll" from your desktop into the folder where wlmail.exe is installed.

That's all!

i continue to receive pop up error message WLDCore.dll was not found, reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

Thanks for the info! It worked on my computer which has been upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. The files were in c:\programs(x86)\shared, and once copied and pasted to c:\programs(x86)\mail, I was able to log on to the email contact in a company's website window. Much appreciated! Just moved over to Firefox and came acroos this problem - Use Windows live Mail for Mail , but not messenger - Copy and pasted the two mentioned  .dll files into Mail and contacts and great
