Hi ,

Which software are you trying to uninstall?

I would recommend you to contact the software vendor who can provide you the product code of the application.

Hope the information helps.

Oh and I used think the Fixit was great. The fact that I can't simply point it to an existing installed executable and let it do it's job is poor at best. Forcing users to try and find a product code GUID is ridiculous to say the least.

When a software installs in windows , registry allocates a GUID code which is 32 characters to that software under HKEY_Classes_ROOT this product key is unique for that product in windows, there is a software named msizap utility from microsoft that needs this guid code for removing th software from windows, not the product key code for installing software everyone wnows this how to find it!

There are utilities that will allow you to read product keys for installed products.  One application called "Product Key Finder" is good for looking up product keys.  Do a Google search under "Keyfinder" and there should be a number of different options to select from.  Many of these are freeware.
