When forwarding emails, pictures are stripped from text & put in slide show destroying original

It seems to me that posts to this thread have degraded to Microsoft-bashing, and with little wonder.  An admitted "known problem" should well have been solved within the TWO YEARS that many of us have been complaining about this.

Well said electrojim, I like your attitude. Microsoft-bashing is definitely counter productive, co-operation from both sides is the best medicine, and you can catch more flys with honey than you can with vinegar.

That being said, I am amazed that the crew at Microsoft has not been able to reproduce the problem and come up with a solution.

I'm not really replying directly to you, Electrojim, but I can't see where the **** to post without using reply.

I'm the one that revived this thread after several months of inactivity.

Obviously, I'm a Very NON Tech person, and that's my point. I don't know or care what mail service anybody else is using. I don't know what a 'client' is, and again I don't care. I was forced into using WLM a couple of months ago when I bought a new computer with W7.

I ONLY want to be able to send and forward emails (with images) In The Same Condition that I received them or composed them. Like I did/could with Vista/Windows Mail. Really. Is that so much to ask?

We, all of us who use WLM, ought to have this capability.  We did under Outlook Express back in the old days, and with the initial version of Windows Live Mail.

Insofar as computers and IT is concerned, I, too, was a very-non-tech person in the beginning, my only goal being to use my computer and programs as tools to accomplish what I used to do with an IBM Selectric typewriter, a lined yellow pad of paper and the US Mail.  But life has, itself, become more complicated as the years have progressed, and the tools we use are no longer as easily understood as a fountain pen, typewriter and Rolodex.

Might I suggest, in your case and similar ones, that Mozilla's Thunderbird is a very good and cost-free mail program that can be downloaded and installed easily.  I would certainly have been tempted to do this myself some time ago, had Windows Live Mail not included features that I have come to depend on.  Plus, there's the sense of satisfaction in being a part of the 'fix,' if one is eventually offered.

PS:  I did not mean I don't care what email service y'all are using.....I meant I don't care what my email friends are using, and am not gonna ask them so I'll know whether my emails with pics will work or not!

And PPS:  Can't believe this forum bleeped out the word h e l l.  I did not use the F-word!!

January 8th 2013 and still no fix. Well here goes, now going to download OUTLOOK.
