When forwarding emails, pictures are stripped from text & put in slide show destroying original

I have Windows 7 & IE8. When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show. The text is full of the dreaded red x's & the whole thing is unreadable.

How can I stop this? Turn off the slide show feature?

    Judas F'ing Priest!!!!!!!!

    While trying to reply to Dismy (sorry about the spelling) I had to reset my password for the email ID I was using for the thread which just happened to be my PERSONAL email ID.

    I just got off the phone with my ISP because my email wouldn't work any more ............. and guess what, my PERSONAL email password had been changed to exactly the same one that I just changed it to for this thread.

    Which means that Microsoft now has my personal email id and PASSWORD. ........... AND it has NOTHING WHTSOEVER TO DO WITH THIS THREAD!!!!!!!!!!

     I hope you enjoyed reading through my jokes Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My advise, post to this thread and change your email password immediately!

    Well hello there - glad to see you are still alive and kicking - it has been a long time with no results hasn't it? I suspect that Microsoft has been so focused on developing Windows 8, Windows Phone, and something called Surface ( they have to be kidding ), that they have completely ignored Windows Live Mail. But , in my humble oppinion, that is a poor excuse. Just the other day I asked the question "What is the future of Windows Live Mail?" So far no response.

    Merry Christmas to you, and to all the other good folk who have taken the time to contribute to this thread which you started 2 years ago.

    Good one Dimsy, you have quite a sense of humor!

    My question is this: I started this thread almost 2 years ago and to this point Microsoft has done absolutely nothing about it... so WHY???

    It affects every WLM user on the WHOLE PLANET..... so I don't get it. They have every brilliant mind in existence on their payroll so it can be fixed. It really can. They just lack the will to do it. Why do they want to p.o. ALL their customers?

    I wrote software my entire career & if a major bug appeared it was fixed within 2 days or somebody lost their head.  But Microsoft doesn't seem to care.....

    WHY????

    Any ideas?

    I've been so frustrated with this problem and can't believe it's been going on for so long.  Will we see an answer to the problem before 2013, my guess is NO.

    And, speaking of adding insult to injury, the previous version of WLM (2009, I believe) didn't have the problem.
