When forwarding emails, pictures are stripped from text & put in slide show destroying original

I have Windows 7 & IE8. When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show. The text is full of the dreaded red x's & the whole thing is unreadable.

How can I stop this? Turn off the slide show feature?

    I'm not seeing this Private Data Area . . .

    My email address is ***ings@****mail.com

    I'm using WLM 2011 with Windows 7 (64 bit); I have a friend also using it, with identical issues.

    Is there an email address I can forward a sample message to?

    Please upload the sample copy of the email below. Make sure to sign-in to this site to see the area and provide the additional info asked by Windows Live Rafael at the public forum.

    @wa4anr

    Please also provide the information Windows Live Rafael asked so we can investigate your issue.

    Please also send us a sample copy of the email you are trying to forward. Try to drag the email from Windows Live Mail message lists to your desktop and then upload the file to the Private Data Area below.

    Make sure to sign-in to this site to see the area. Please post back in the public forum after you attach the file.

    Yes, we need your email address so we can verify the account you are using. You can also send us a sample copy of the email you are having issues with.

    I've provided your own Private Data Area to my second post.

    Thanks.

    I am having the same issue. I want my forwarded email to look like what I receive, but WLM strips embedded images out of the body of the email and, for some recipients (like if I forward it to myself) converts the images to a slide show.  Other recipients don't seem to get them at all.  I wish I could get Outlook Express for Windows 7.
