When forwarding emails, pictures are stripped from text & put in slide show destroying original

I have Windows 7 & IE8. When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show. The text is full of the dreaded red x's & the whole thing is unreadable.

How can I stop this? Turn off the slide show feature?

    I've only had Widows & (and Live Mail) less than two months and read interest the way Microsoft is ignoring this issue.  Notice the link

    Have any of the users found an alternative email client yet?

    It's now been 1 WHOLE YEAR since I first posted this problem...........and NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Technology has moved ahead in quantum leaps, computer products have come and gone, governments have changed, new cell phones are unrecognizable ..................... and what about our problem?????

    NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Windows 7 continues to screw up my emails with no resolution nor even any attempt to fix it.

    I have been following this post for 9months. It really is quite unbelieveable that the problem hasn't been fixed.

    In the meantime my workaround is:

    1. Save the picture in the original email
    2. forward the email, remove all the junk
    3. delete the picture
    4. imbed the saved picture in the email.

    Works fine for 1 picture but would be a joke with more.

    Microsoft is certainly dragging its heels with this problem encountered by "millions" of patrons.
