I have Windows 7 & IE8. When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show. The text is full of the dreaded red x's & the whole thing is unreadable.
How can I stop this? Turn off the slide show feature?

To add insult to injury, WLM just updated and now I have NO Email addresses! Unaceptable is an understatement! Bart Simpson could do better! Microsofts Creditability just went further south and their "so called" technitions are seriously over paid! Thank GOD for RESTORE!
It's now april of 2012 when are they goint to fix this defect with WLM? I have WLM because they reduce all the pictures thumbnails and require you click on them to view them. I find this totally unaceptable and will not update until they fix this. I made the mistake of upgrading once, and it was a nightmare uninstalling it and going back to windows mail. This really sucks having to wait so long for microsoft to fix this..... I gues I'll have to start looking at other email / newgroup programs, cause it seems like microsoft doesn't give a ****.... they just take your money

Thank you. It is nice to know that I am not the only they DO NOT pay attention to. Though you did not solve my problem, I am glad to hear that others are in the same boat, so to speak. Misery loves company.
Hey, S0CSeven: I feel your pain. I, too, have bird-dogged MS about this very issue from the time I first discovered it, about the time they came out with the "new, improved!" WLM 2011.
The issue seems always to be between WLM and some other, non-Microsoft e-mail programs. Back and forth between WLM and Outlook, for example, no problem at all. But if I, using WLM, receive a message with embedded images from a friend using Thunderbird, when I then reply or forward the message, the images are stripped and attached as .jpg (or whatever) files.
I have explained and re-explained this to MS people time and time again, until I am blue in the face. Note, for example, they still want to know what error message is received when this happens. Well, guys, NO message is received, WLM just interprets and re-formats HTML improperly. If the WLM guys would just do whatever it is that Outlook does, we'd all be happy campers.
