When forwarding emails, pictures are stripped from text & put in slide show destroying original

I have Windows 7 & IE8. When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show. The text is full of the dreaded red x's & the whole thing is unreadable.

How can I stop this? Turn off the slide show feature?

    I clicked on your link & got this:

    "We were not able to find the resource you were looking for.

    The specific page you are trying to access is not available. If you have any support questions related to Mail, look for relevant solutions available at http://windowslivehelp.com/solutions.aspx?productid=15."

    It wasn't much help.

    Thanks for the tip on attaching image files.  I'm missing something here:  Since all my images are stored in my "local folders", how can I send them any other way? ((So they don't get sent as a "photo email")

    I just thought I'd tell the followers of this problem what my workaround is.

    Every time I try to forward an email and get the message beginning with "One or more of the pictures in this message could not be found .............."  I know WLM is about to destroy my imbedded pictures and I cancel the attempt.

    If I then log on to my ISP mail server directly, I can forward the email without it being destroyed even though apparently WLM is somehow connected with my ISP email server (Bell Sympatico in Canada).

    I don't understand it but it works for me.

    Have any of you other folks found a workaround??

    Hi Wa4anr,

    You can send images as file attachments from Live Mail. However, note that when sending images from your local folders, Live Mail sends it as Photo e-mail. You can instead create a new mail in Live Mail and attach the files.

    @everyone

    We appreaciate all your feedback.
