When forwarding emails, pictures are stripped from text & put in slide show destroying original

I have Windows 7 & IE8. When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show. The text is full of the dreaded red x's & the whole thing is unreadable.

How can I stop this? Turn off the slide show feature?

    I've never heard of Spamfighter either but I use Bellmail, the same thing as Hotmail, and all use Microsoft as their email provider. I have never had a spam issue with this account and have no need of something like Spamfighter.

    However, I'm still able to get around this problem if I log on to my ISP & forward emails instead of using WLM which seems to me to be the crux of the problem.

    Thanks for the suggestion - However I have never installed or used SPAMFIGHTER. The only thing I have ever installed and used is Microsoft Security Essentials. If this is the problem, and I don't believe it is, it would be one Microsoft program interfering with another Microsoft program.

    I'll ditto the comment on Spamfighter, I have never had it either.  To restate the problem, I see pictures disappear, replaced by 'holders' and attached as .jpg (or whatever) files ONLY when corresponding with non-Microsoft e-mail programs.  The pictures stay where they are supposed to when I communicate back-and-forth with Outlook users, but Mozilla's Thunderbird and some web-mail utilities ALWAYS cause WLM to strip the photos received from these users and re-sent.

    Just how many of us have SPAMFIGHTER installed on our computers Trolle. Some of us don't use the thing but we still have the problem with WLM.

    A solution to the issue about photos-being-stripped-from-the-mail text-and-placed-in-DIASSHOW.

    Being one of those many WLM users with this problem I  consulted my native Microsoft Comunity on this issue - and after a long series of useless experiments I was adviced to uninstall   SPAMFIGHTER.

    Removing this very popular program from my computer caused the long-time-wanted photo function to reappear - just like that !

    If you use SPAMFIGHTER you better try this miracle cure for yourselves . . .
