When forwarding emails, pictures are stripped from text & put in slide show destroying original

I have Windows 7 & IE8. When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show. The text is full of the dreaded red x's & the whole thing is unreadable.

How can I stop this? Turn off the slide show feature?

I am having the same issue. I want my forwarded email to look like what I receive, but WLM strips embedded images out of the body of the email and, for some recipients (like if I forward it to myself) converts the images to a slide show.  Other recipients don't seem to get them at all.  I wish I could get Outlook Express for Windows 7.

    There are NO error messages.

Just emails with the pictures stripped out and replaced with boxes with the dreaded red x. Pls read second comment.

    Thanks
