Hi wicwas,

I have Windows 7 & IE8. When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show. The text is full of the dreaded red x's & the whole thing is unreadable.
How can I stop this? Turn off the slide show feature?

I have been following this post for 9months. It really is quite unbelieveable that the problem hasn't been fixed.
In the meantime my workaround is:
Works fine for 1 picture but would be a joke with more.
Microsoft is certainly dragging its heels with this problem encountered by "millions" of patrons.

re: Your comment about sending feedback
I just found a Microsoft site which lists those products that are currently accepting feedback, bugs or suggestions, for improving Microsoft products.
Windows Live Essentials is NOT listed, let alone Windows Live Mail.
Here is the site < http://connect.microsoft.com/ >
Are you able to confirm, one way or another, whether or not feedback to Windows Live Mail is actually getting through?
I would hate to spend time trying to help by sending feedback and have it end up in the garbage.
Thanks very much,

This has been going on since December 2010. How long does it take to fix something that was not broke until you did an update. Just go back to the old program. Maybe you need a new product team.
