Hi,
I'm using Win 7 (32 bit) with the MS arc Touch mouse software and drivers installed. Running on HP TX2 Touchsmart Tablet.
I'm facing a problem with my mouse with regards to the scroll function.
After "switching on" the mouse, there is a green led light and everything seems to work. The green LED then disappears, presumably to save battery.
However, after a short period of time, the scroll function will not work at all. There is no scroll "feedback" felt from the scroll strip either. But when I flatten the mouse and turn it back on again, everything works as per normal.
But after some time, the same problem resurfaces. Then, I have to turn the mouse off and back on again. Sometimes, the scroll function "turns" itself back on automatically. But most of the time, it just stops working altogether.
This is very irritating. It seems nobody else have encountered this issue.

Already done brother. It's been posted by myself and a few others as far as I can tell. I'm hoping they see it and can resolve this soon before too many more people suffer the exact same fate with theirs. This could potentially turn into a really big headache for Microsoft just before launch of an OS they desperately need to succeed in the eyes of the public.
They really need some sort of a warning in place when attempting to use this app until this is resolved.

Ugh. I hate to hear that it's still happening to others after what I went through. After hours of scouring the web for potential solutions and troubleshooting myself, and hours more later troubleshooting with Microsoft Tech Support, I eventually wound up having to have mine replaced. I actually just received my replacement from FedEx today. They really need some sort of a warning in place when attempting to use this app until this is resolved. Hopefully it's something that can be easily repaired with a simple app and driver update.
I have an identical situation: scrolling, I underline - scrolling and not all other functions of the strip, is totally disabled by using the app mentioned. This makes me agree with those who see this issue as a software problem. Hopefully Microsoft can handle it with the release of new drivers/updating the app and the mouse firmware (if it exists).
I have a similar problem. The touch scrolling has somehow been broken after attempting to make changes in the Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse app in Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10130. I've been at this for hours trying to get a fix, I even tried going back to Windows 8.1, but nothing thus far seems to bring back the touch scrolling. I suspect the firmware somehow got corrupted.
