Hi Abu,
Thanks for your suggestion.
Could you indicate what version of the Intel Wireless Bluetooth driver you updated to?
I see version 18.1.1525.1445 dated on June 18, 2015. Did you install the driver directly from Intel?
Thanks in advance.
John

Hi,
I'm using Win 7 (32 bit) with the MS arc Touch mouse software and drivers installed. Running on HP TX2 Touchsmart Tablet.
I'm facing a problem with my mouse with regards to the scroll function.
After "switching on" the mouse, there is a green led light and everything seems to work. The green LED then disappears, presumably to save battery.
However, after a short period of time, the scroll function will not work at all. There is no scroll "feedback" felt from the scroll strip either. But when I flatten the mouse and turn it back on again, everything works as per normal.
But after some time, the same problem resurfaces. Then, I have to turn the mouse off and back on again. Sometimes, the scroll function "turns" itself back on automatically. But most of the time, it just stops working altogether.
This is very irritating. It seems nobody else have encountered this issue.
Please help!!

Hi all,
I have Lenovo yoga 2 pro running on windows 10 and use MS Arc Touch Mouse Bluetooth. And I had the problem of scrolling getting frozen every so often. Shutting down and restarting the mouse (basically flattening out and bending back) would help gain the scroll functionality.
Anyway, I found in the device manager, under Bluetooth, there was an entry for Intel Wireless Bluetooth and the driver was out of date. After updating, the problem seems to have gone.
All the best!
Reinstalling the drivers didn't work.
Turning off Wifi didn't work (I read some WiFi's may interfere, especially any 5.0 Ghz)
Steps I took to get the wheel to work again:
1. Remove (un-pair) from blue tooth screen in Windows 10
2. Pair the device again
3. If wheel still doesn't work (it didn't for me), take out the batteries and wait 10 seconds. Then you will hear that clicking noise of success when you scroll.
If that doesn't work, change the batteries or throw it really hard against a brick wall.
FWIW another data point regarding scroll issues with my "Microsoft Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse for PC, Microsoft Surface, and Windows Tablets", model 7MP-00001, used with Win10: I was having scroll issues wherein scrolling would seem to just jump the page up and back instead of smoothly scrolling in one direction. Though skeptical I found that indeed turning the mouse off (flattening) and restarting results in correct scrolling. (I don't recall having this problem with Win 8.1 before updating to Win 10)
As someone who logged the issue early on - it's been with much amusement and sadness that I've watched this thread grow. I've resigned my arc mouse to the dust pile and recommend everyone I know against buying one - which is sad because the design itself was sweet. Hopefully one day MS fixes it and then I can recommend it again.
