Arc Touch Mouse Scroll stops working

Hi,

I'm using Win 7 (32 bit) with the MS arc Touch mouse software and drivers installed. Running on HP TX2 Touchsmart Tablet.

I'm facing a problem with my mouse with regards to the scroll function.

After "switching on" the mouse, there is a green led light and everything seems to work. The green LED then disappears, presumably to save battery.

However, after a short period of time, the scroll function will not work at all. There is no scroll "feedback" felt from the scroll strip either. But when I flatten the mouse and turn it back on again, everything works as per normal.

But after some time, the same problem resurfaces. Then, I have to turn the mouse off and back on again. Sometimes, the scroll function "turns" itself back on automatically. But most of the time, it just stops working altogether.

This is very irritating. It seems nobody else have encountered this issue.

Please help!!

    Hi Richard,

You're referring to the free "Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse" app on the Microsoft Store. That app has three settings:

    1. Flick: ON/OFF
    2. Tap to Page Up/Down: ON/OFF
    3. Vibration/Sound: ON/OFF   LOW---------------HIGH

The third option can be set to a level that ranges from 1 (LOW) to 6 (HIGH).

I set the range to 1 just now (Tue 14 Jul 2015 at 1:25 pm CST). However, it doesn't seem to have done anything. The vibration and sound are still at the same level. I'll reboot, to see if that helps. I'll report back by 5:00 pm CST on Fri 17 Jul at 5:00 pm CST with my results. Would you also please do the same?

    Thanks,

    Steve

I use to suffer from the scroll button not working also. I reduced the volume / sound right down to 1 and it appears to have resolved the issue. I would normally have this fail at least 4 times a day, i am now on day 3 and still working fine. Try it and let me know if you are successful also.

Note i am running Surface Pro 3 on W8.1

Good to know it worked for you. When some of us, including myself, did the same you did it didn't help. Your experience makes me give it another try as soon as I get my hands on Win 8.1 machine. Thanks man, good news.
