Hey guys,
so I'm having a bit of an issue. I'm running a fresh install of win7 for over a week without any problems. Yesterday, for no apparent reason (ie. no updates, no modifications, no new software install...really NOTHING) my network access icon on the bottom right taskbar has a yellow triangle over it and says i have "no internet access" even though i clearly have internet.
I probably wouldnt be worried too much if it was just a wrong icon, but the problem is, software that check for updates and checks to see if im online keeps saying im offline and can only work in offline mode.
This is causing a serious issue.
Any1 have any clues how to fix this?
I run Kasp Antivir 2010 and thats about it. No other wierd or free software...no extra firewalls nothing. I just dont get how it can just happen from 1 day to the other.
Oh and the whole win7 "Troubleshoot" didnt detect any problems.

If the issue persists then, create a Windows user account and check if this issue occurs with the new user account.

run regedit
and go to this key
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet]
then look at key named
"EnableActiveProbing"
look his value if is 0 make it 1 and reconnect the network

Yes,it really helped.
My "EnableActiveProbing" parametar was 1.
I changed it to 0 and after that changed it again to 1.
After that I restart windows7 and everything is OK after that.

After a restart I found this did not fix my issue. I've followed all the other guides in this forum but they haven't fixed my problem either. I have found that if I make an adjustment to my network adapter and click ok, the Icon and adapter settings says it is now connected.
I had the exact same problem preventing a game from loading but I had a static IP address set up on my computer. I was able to access the internet but my network connection monitor said there was no internet access. I ended up logging into my router and found under the Local Area Network area a checkbox for allowing Static Routes. Once Static Routes were enabled the "no internet access" icon went away and the game loaded correctly.

My regedit doesn't have services listed under the current control set. Where does that leave me?
I still have a red X over my icon AFTER LETTING A TECHNICIAN FROM MICROSOFT ONTO MY PC WHO tried to fix the Windows 10 download but couldn't. Now I can't get rid of this RED X!!
