Hey guys,
so I'm having a bit of an issue. I'm running a fresh install of win7 for over a week without any problems. Yesterday, for no apparent reason (ie. no updates, no modifications, no new software install...really NOTHING) my network access icon on the bottom right taskbar has a yellow triangle over it and says i have "no internet access" even though i clearly have internet.
I probably wouldnt be worried too much if it was just a wrong icon, but the problem is, software that check for updates and checks to see if im online keeps saying im offline and can only work in offline mode.
This is causing a serious issue.
Any1 have any clues how to fix this?
I run Kasp Antivir 2010 and thats about it. No other wierd or free software...no extra firewalls nothing. I just dont get how it can just happen from 1 day to the other.
Oh and the whole win7 "Troubleshoot" didnt detect any problems.

I tried a dozen different solutions for my Win 10 / Asus mobo, including:
* disabling firewalls
* disabling antivirus'
* uninstall NIC adaptor
* use Intel's NIC drivers (which froze the whole PC during install!)
* disable IPV6
* checked registry settings
This did the trick nicely - thanks!

I have the dreaded triangle and have tried most of the above recommended solutions (all those that are practical) but without success. I am running Windows 10 on a fairly old custom built pc. All the recommendations are for operating systems prior to windows 10 so it is interesting to note that is it has been a very long standing and continuing problem. The problem only causes me some frustration when I am listening to music from YouTube; after half an hour playing it suddenly cuts out and my pc shuts down. Given that this is the only problem that I an aware of I guess it is not serious but I am a bit of a perfectionist and would like to rejoin the ranks of those fortunate computer users who do not have the dreaded triangle.

Do this, it works -> go into the device manager, select the network adapters device, double click your network adapter, select the driver tab, click the disable button. once it is disabled, then click the enable button, the driver is reloaded and your problem is solved.
