Hey guys,
so I'm having a bit of an issue. I'm running a fresh install of win7 for over a week without any problems. Yesterday, for no apparent reason (ie. no updates, no modifications, no new software install...really NOTHING) my network access icon on the bottom right taskbar has a yellow triangle over it and says i have "no internet access" even though i clearly have internet.
I probably wouldnt be worried too much if it was just a wrong icon, but the problem is, software that check for updates and checks to see if im online keeps saying im offline and can only work in offline mode.
This is causing a serious issue.
Any1 have any clues how to fix this?
I run Kasp Antivir 2010 and thats about it. No other wierd or free software...no extra firewalls nothing. I just dont get how it can just happen from 1 day to the other.
Oh and the whole win7 "Troubleshoot" didnt detect any problems.

If the issue persists then, create a Windows user account and check if this issue occurs with the new user account.

MS apparently uses an IPV6 ping to name ipv6.msftconnecttest.com to determine whether it has internet connectivity. If you cannot ping this address using "ping -6 ipv6.msftconnettest.com" (no quotes) then Win10 may assume you cannot connect and not even try other means to determine connectivity. You can try turning off Active Probing with the registry key "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet\EnableActiveProbing"
(no quotes but just use regedit to search for 'ActiveProbing' but Win10 really wants to have IPV6 connectivity that may be why they use a Terrado tunnel. Anyway you need to solve the IPV6 connectivity issue. There was a time when hackers used IPV6 as a way into systems since MS turned connectivity on by default (ahhem...mubicks) but now apparently you have to have it either by a tunnel or directly. After a restart I found this did not fix my issue. I've followed all the other guides in this forum but they haven't fixed my problem either. I have found that if I make an adjustment to my network adapter and click ok, the Icon and adapter settings says it is now connected.
only recently...as i mentioned b4...it runs for a long time without any problems and then without any changes being made to the system it just gets that yellow triangle issue.
and reinstalling the drivers didnt help
