There should not be 196000 files in the System32 folder! Even my very complex system only has 2768 files present there.

Once the folder is open , simply type CMD (fairly quickly), and Windows should find the file for you.

I'm intrigued by the huge number of files present - when was the last time you ran a full Anti-Virus scan with updated definitions? Which Anti-Virus are you using? What about a malware scanner?  Is there a pattern to a large number of these files in terms of their names, or their dates?

If you ever actually answered the questions that were asked, it would make everyone's life easier - and you would get your solution.

Since the first post in this thread on 29 May, you've been asked for a full MGADiag report - and so far have not produced one. It's no good on your desktop, it needs to be in the thread!

I see now, looking back that you did post an MGADiag report in the WGA forum - and never responded when I posted the solution - please chack back there and follow the advice, and this time RESPOND!

Thanks for the reply.  My issue is the sticker on the bottom of my laptop is worn and faded due to friction, sweat, etc.  The sticker is still there, but I can't read the number on it.

Do you know how I can go about finding out what my legit key number is?

    Thanks.

No it wasn't - look at the date on that post - it was dated 29th May!

In case you haven't noticed, there are more than two people posting in this thread, and have been since it started. ALL people who subscribe to the thread, inclucing the original poster get emails of ALL responses to the thread.

Please repost a NEW MGADiag report, if you are still having problems - otherwise I have no clue what you are talking about
