How to rotate screen back to normal

my whole home page  or i should say everything is sideways and i cant get it back to normal!!!

Hi

Use the following hotkey combination to rotate the screen.

Press and hold Ctrl+Alt and press either the left or right Arrow key.

Let us know the results.

    Right click on the desktop and select screen resolution.

    Then go  to Orientation and from the pull-down menu select landscape

    I am running windows 8.1 on my desktop and have tried the ctrl/alt and arrow keys as you suggested- does not work. Help
