My highest scores for Spider Solitaire (Windows 7's version) on intermediate are as follows:

1238 (5/23/2010)

1222 (6/20/2010)

1214 (8/30/2010)

1195 (4/4/2011)

1180 (6/12/2011)

I'm positive there are higher scores possible. :)

Wikipedia states that the highest possible score is 1293 given a perfect deal (and I'm assuming that's on Expert mode given the additional score possibilites being lower than what I've achieved on intermediate mode).

Win percentage is almost meaningless (addressing another "answer") as all games of Spider Solitaire are winnable given the unlimited undo's in Windows' version. I've played 646 games thus far with a 100% win percentage.

You can get as high a score as you want.  It just takes time.

Find a game where when you clear a column you get the no more moves screen.  You just got 100 points. Click to return to the game and undo.  The game forgets to take away the 100 points.   clear the column again and get another 100 points (minus the point for the undo and the point for the move to clear the column).  Wash, rinse, repeat until you reach the score you want or get bored.

    I only play the advanced level game and my high score is 1199 (101 moves). I have not noticed any bonus for playing faster so I take my time. You definitely will not score well if you have to undo moves and I think when I made my high score I didn't undo any. As far as the scoring system works I have noticed that 200 moves = 1100 points so every move more or less than that is a point subtracted or added. As far as maximum possible score this is how I see it. There are 44 cards face down on the board and each card must be turned over once except for the last 8 cards (assuming they are all Kings) so we have a minimum of 44 - 8  = 36 moves. No moves are added for clicking on the bottom pile so we can disregard that. Using the scoring system I outlined at the start, this would give a maximum possible score in Advanced Mode of (200 - 36) = 164 + 1100 = 1264. This perfect score assumes the the cards in the pile all fall in exactly the right location when they are clicked. I would love to know if anyone has a high score in the 1200s in advanced mode and if my number of moves to points scored theory is correct or if there is another variable involved. Also please tell me if you think my minimum number of moves calculation is wrong. Thanks.

    Hello!

    In the above message is the phrase "given the unlimited undo's in Windows' version".

    Does this mean that unlimited undos has been put into Window 7's version of Spider?

    {The version of Microsoft's Spider that I am running on XP only allows undos to one

    move after a full deck has automatically been removed.}

    If so, that is cool, and is aligned with the Spider I was used to playing on the early

    Unix OS(s).

    You have been lucky to have gotten such a good streak, even with unlimited undos!

    the highest possible score without hacking or cheating is unlimited. i have a high score right now of 13,232 and could go as high as i want. there is a glitch in the game (windows 7 version) that allows you to score this type of score without any cheating. i had been trying to figure out what the glitch was from having previously scoring in the high 1200's and it took almost 1000 games to find it , but find it i did. the glitch is when you are playing and your last move is a stack removal and it results in a "no more moves" screen , close the box with the "x" and then select undo and it will NOT remove the 100 points when it undoes the stack. repeat this set of moves to keep adding points legally

    note that this cannot be the very last move and that there must be cards in each position.

    i stopped at 13k , was just trying to see if it would go into five digits for the score, would be interesting to see if it will go into the millions:)
