Unfortunately the E51 doesn't allow you to record your own voice tags. This was dropped as speech recognition technology advanced, it seems. Good or bad?

Good idea, but there should still be a way to guide the recognition. Say if "no match found", allow user to manually point to the desired contact or voice command to speed up the learning.
I have found that it takes many tries to get the first match correct for a contact.
