theRefoRe, it's not an E51 issue; it's the softwaRe :)
Hi everyone,
I bought my phone in US and everything is fine, except the creaky sound when I press the side buttons like volume and record. This weird sound comes from the plastic. Can someone confirm that it is OK?

dani2xll,
Please, don't confuse the people.
On my Nokia E51, Opera 8.65 is working just fine! Nop probs whatsoever.
(even though, I'd rather use internal browser)
Tell us, how did You do that, as seems You are the only one, all others, including me can't use it, E51 runs firmware 100.34.20 and Opera Mobile is useless, cant use D-Pad, can't select etc, read the thread - http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=213348
There is also Opera -s official answer - "We have received reports about Opera Mobile for Series 60 not being compatible with some newer devices from Nokia. Unfortunately this can only be resolved by an updated version of Opera Mobile. Unfortunately I can not tell you anything regarding scheduled updates of Opera Mobile."
Thank you for your support and clarification.

There've been extensive discussions in HoFo about creaks on the left side of the front (in the 1, 4, 7, and Calendar keys, for example), but I haven't seen any reports of creaks in the right side keys like you describe. My E51 does not creak on the right side (volume buttons), but it creaks along the left side of the front -- it's annoying, but I haven't seen any degradation in usage.
I tried out two E51 display phones in the NYC Nokia store, and they creaked, too, so I have kept my original E51.
