I purchased the E51 about 3 months ago. It works great, apart from, the same problem as a lot of you have, the alarm not working the way it should.

On Monday morning the alarm fails to go off, and the date still says it's Sunday, and my alarm is set for work days, so no wonder. I though maybe it was a one off bug but it has happened to me on 2 occasions and I was late for work. I also though the leap year screwed it up, as it didn't seem to happen before 29 Feb.

I thought I could rely on this alarm like all the other phones I've had, but now I will be checking it daily and after midnight just incase.

    What a PIA.

mine works fine. activate automatic update. maybe that would help.

Just bought a 4GB SanDisk microSD for P1,000! Really cheap ;)

About the E51i, I think the only difference is that it has no camera (because some offices do not allow camera phones for security purposes).
