Hi,

You can't make folders on the desktop that have "System Action" or "Device"  references such

as con, nul and prn. Solution is to use another name or use 0 instead of o,O for C0n.

Here are others :

CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9,

LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9

Can you create “con” folder on windows os ?

Hope this helps.

No one can make the folder name at con and other names because these all operating systems LPT1-LPT9 and COM1-COM9 and more these are all operating systems that's why no one can write these names on desktop but at one condition you can write these names on folder when you write these names on folder you should longly pressed alt and then press 0160 you will write the name and then hit enter the name will be there on folder :D :D thanx for reading my comment it's not fake just try and you will see

"con" is the reserved word in Windows. There are some more reserved words which you can't use for naming purposes. But there is a workaround which you can do create a folder with name "con".
