My computer is giving me an error that my printer is out of paper and it is not. It has done this with three different printers.

I have the same problem and the drivers are up to date. Every time my printer has an issue, Windows 10 will not clear the error when the error has been resolved...and it will NOT print, until the error is cleared. How about a suggestion that fixes the problem???
Windows 10 has been out for quite some time now and it can't handle a simple printer problem??? Wish we were back to the NT days when Microsoft software actually worked!!!!!
Hi Paul,
Problem not solved
The way I solved it was to restart the print spooler.
This will reset Window's communication with the printer and Windows will no longer think the printer is out of paper. Problem solved.
Says out of paper. paper in it
