My computer is giving me an error that my printer is out of paper and it is not. It has done this with three different printers.

Under the "Ports" tab in the Properties page of the Printer check the checkbox of the IP address of the printer and it should be back to normal

unfortunately not for me.
I have a server 2012 R2 back end, with the LaserJet 400 installed via WSD port. Bidirectional is already turned off, and spooler re-started on both client and server...
I know this is an old thread but recently ran into this issue and simply stopping and restarting the Print Spooler service resolved it for me.
