My computer is giving me an error that my printer is out of paper and it is not. It has done this with three different printers.

None of these suggestions work. I have a new hp laptop. The old one had no problems printing ever. There is paper and no jams etc
I agree, there is no excuse for this; I need something printed this morning and had no problems with my old hp computer. I have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions

3ICE's suggestion worked for me. Restart print spooler service. Then view->refresh the "what's printing" printer properties window
