Out of Paper Error When there is Paper

My computer is giving me an error that my printer is out of paper and it is not.  It has done this with three different printers.

Disable BiDirectional on the Port tab of printer properties

    I also am having the same problem as everyone else.  I  have read the thread and restarting the print spool does work but i am having to do it 1-2 times a week.  I'm the 'IT' guy but also an estimator and have to go out on jobs sites, so i'm not always here.

    This is the only printer here (have 4 HP Laserjet 500 printers also) that has this issue and just started happening a month or so ago.  Not sure if there is an update on the drivers or is there firmware for this printer (like the 500's).  Just tired of having 1 of the owners of the company keep coming to me asking me to fix her printer.

    Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
