Out of Paper Error When there is Paper

My computer is giving me an error that my printer is out of paper and it is not.  It has done this with three different printers.

Disable BiDirectional on the Port tab of printer properties

    My printer keeps giving me Öut of Paper"when its not...don't know how to reset it. have unplugged and plugged in again. checked printing devices to no avail.

    My printer says it is out of paper.  The paper tray is full.
